End of Year Health Fund Reminder - Don't Miss Out On Your Benefits

Did you know that your annual private health fund benefits (including podiatry and orthotics cover) resets on the 1st of January each year?  Meaning that any cover you are entitled to in 2017 will not roll over into the New Year!

As our busy end-of-year period approaches, we'd like to take this opportunity to remind our patients at Blackwood Podiatry, to organise their annual or review appointments.

If you have recently discussed treatment with your podiatrist and would like to utilise your health fund benefits for 2017, it is time to secure your booking.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Our “second pair of custom-made foot orthoses special” is available to those customers who have previously received custom-made foot orthotics through Blackwood Podiatry or Morphett Vale Podiatry between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2017.

A 30% discount will be applied to any out-of-pocket expenses on our standard foot orthoses and dispense consultation fees.  This means the 30% discount will be applied to any private health fund gap payment.  If you do not have private health extras cover that includes podiatry, then the 30% discount will be applied to the total orthoses and dispense consultation fee.  Please contact our office for our fee schedule.

To be eligible for the discount, your new custom-made foot orthotics must be manufactured, fitted and dispensed by close of business 22 December 2017.

To be eligible for the discount, patients must first book a review appointment with a podiatrist at Blackwood Podiatry or Morphett Vale Podiatry.  During this appointment your podiatrist will check your current devices and will discuss your orthotic needs with you.  Our standard consultation fee applies to this appointment.  This appointment must be made and attended before Friday 8 December 2017, to allow for adequate time to manufacture and dispense your new orthoses by close of business 22 December 2017.

If new casts (plaster impressions) of your feet are required to manufacture your new orthoses, this will be charged at our usual rate.  If your previous casts (plaster impressions) can be used without alteration, there will be no additional charge.

Private health care rebates may be available for extras cover that includes podiatry.  Please contact your private health insurer to check your rebate eligibility.  Private health rebates are available on the day through HICAPS.

No discount available on fees additional to the orthotics and dispense consultation fee.

The discount is not applicable to any subsequent review appointments, if required.

Your new custom-made orthoses include up to one free adjustment (if required).  Any subsequent adjustments may be subject to additional fees.

The discount is not applicable to any pre-fabricated orthoses or other orthoses / devices.
